Before I get into the 7 secret strategies you rarely hear about from gurus let’s answer some of the following questions. Is there a real market for affiliate marketing? Is it too saturated for me to start making money? CAN I MAKE MONEY DOING AFFILIATE MARKETING?

Worldwide, affiliate marketing is a 12-billion-dollar industry, and those figures are only going to increase.

Based on all this data, I’d say it's safe to say that affiliate marketing is here to stay and will only grow even more in the coming years. Affiliate marketing is like being a matchmaker. You basically match products or services with people who need or want them. Amazon and Walmart are two very popular affiliate vendors. You’d be surprised how many companies have affiliate programs. All you have to do is go to the bottom of their website and check if they have an “Affiliate Program”.
The first step I will mention is not a secret, but I need to bring it up. The first step to making money in affiliate marketing is to get started. That’s right, take the first step. You will not make a single dime if you never get started. Sounds silly but it’s true. What use is it to you for me or anyone to share ideas and concepts that could potentially make you your first million dollars if you never get started? Ok, got that out of the way, now let’s get started.

The funny thing about this term is that two days after doing my research, I heard my mentor explain to us how we can use this strategy on our hub (it’s a website but much more powerful) to increase traffic to it.
One example of gamification is when you create a blog or video and tell your subscribers to comment on your blogs or videos or even posts on social media and you make a game of it. The person who comments the most for a certain amount of time or just on a blog or video and creates more engagement or gets the most reactions from other subscribers is the winner. Some bloggers or YouTubers will reward that person with a certain discount on a product, a one-on-one session, or even a gift card. As a matter of fact, let’s do this for this article. Give me your comments after reading this article and let’s see who gets the most reactions from others. After a month, I will give a shout out to that person in a video or another blog post. I know of certain YouTubers that will tell their viewers to “like, subscribe, and share” a video with other. People who comply with this will qualify for a raffle at the end of a certain period. The interview also benefits the business owner because I create more exposure for them. So, I see this as a win-win situation for any business owner that fits into my guidelines for being interviewed.
